Matt Murphy:  Good morning, I'm Matt Murphy with Lasseter Implement Company in Tifton, Georgia.

Tal Etheridge:  I'm Tal Etheridge with Lasseter Tractor Company in Moultrie, Georgia.

Matt:  We'd like to talk to you about some of the new products John Deere has released for the 2012 crop year. Some of those include the new 7000 R‑series tractor, the new four‑seater John Deere Gator along with the redesigned 5000 series and 6000 series tractors.

Tal:  Also we have some new products with AMS, which is Ag Management Solutions with precision agriculture to help save the producers money.

Matt:  Another exciting part of this AMS, and built into these tractors, is the new feature of John Deere link and John Deere link is wireless telematics that allows the tractor to talk back and forth with our dealership. A lot of times an owner is not present on the farm and the operator may not know what's going on with his tractor. The tractor actually sends a message to our dealership and lets us know what's going on without having a technician in the field.

Tal:  And also, with the Precision Ag, with Greenstar Precision Ag products, we're able to do yield monitoring on the new harvesting equipment and allow the producer to variable rate their fertilizer and help better manage their input cost and it helps them to track what their bottom line is in their production product.
