ASA will partner with Agribank, Farm Credit Services and Monsanto to sponsor the 2012 Legislative Forum on Tuesday, July 10, in Washington, D.C. 

The Forum will feature presentations from Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-Ohio); Pam Bailey, president & CEO of the Grocery Manufacturers Association; Darci Vetter, deputy under secretary, Foreign Agricultural Service; Ellen Kullman, DuPont chair of the board & CEO; Chuck Conner, president of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives; and keynote speaker Krysta Harden, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Chief of Staff. 

Additionally, Archer Daniels Midland Co will sponsor company representatives to attend the Forum as part of a partnership with the National Oilseed Processors Association.

Both NOPA and ASA sponsor the annual Congressional Reception, which will be held on Capitol Hill on July 11, after farmer leaders conduct visits with their representatives earlier that day.
