Felony Pecan Thefts Hit Farmers Hard

South Georgia farmers have much more to worry about than the weather, market prices and pests.
You know copper thieves are targeting farms these days. Some farmers are also now working overtime to protect their crops from crooks.
It's harvest time at Shamrock Ranch in Dougherty County and pecans are plentiful here.
Tons of them are being scooped up, dumped off, and hauled to market.
